I've been looking around for a bit but I can't seem to find a good template for
creating a scratch pool. I'm assuming this is pretty much all I need(?):

So far it looks like the only directive you can assign to Pool
Just curious how this is calculated. The volume usage always shows 0% average
even with data on the volume. I was just wondering if this was another option I
needed to add to me existing config.

There wasn't for a while but when I tried to erase the tape again I did see
some messages in dmesg that pointed me to either the drive or the tape. I was
using a density code of 0x84 (35G Uncompressed with 0 byte/variable block
size) and the messages indicated

start fresh and start my backups for real after testing and getting things
working.
I toasted the database tables etc, and re-labled a couple of tapes:
1) mt -f /dev/nst0 status (verify density)
# mt -f /dev/nst0 status
again and verify the volume is assigned to
the propper pool I guess and see if that does anything.

exactly what file(s) did you look at? Reason I ask is I just completed
an upgrade from v1.36 to v2.0.3 on about 80 clients (5 of them being
Windows) and noticed that the config is now in a different place on my

but is it possible there is an issue with DNS on the windows side? On the
Linux machines I am actually using host files, maybe I need some kind of host
file entry on the windows machines?
