Hello Marco,
Now I understand your question, thanks!
So, these are daemon messages and you have your Messages resource for
daemon messages configured to send them to the console by using "console =
all, !skipped, !saved".
If you wish to send those messages to the .log file only, for example, just

Hello Marco,
This is a message from Bacula daemons. It seems that you have the "
bts-station1513.dyn.pp.lnf.it" value in the Address directive configured in
one of your Bacula hosts. The error is related to name resolution when
Bacula tries to connect to this host. So it must be configured somewh

in the source code there are different log level defined: info, warning, error,

and every level is passed to the resource where the level matched.
so the "fatal" email address gets only the line of output where the fatal error
happens.
the "all" email gets also the

Hi
Having 2 or more consoles opened to bacula directory, only one console gets
the messages. There is any way to send the messages to all opened consoles?
Any idea would be appreciated. Thanks.

Now that we have a lot of Bacula use I am looking to offload some
monitoring of the backups onto support.
For a test I am wanting to direct my messages from specific backup jobs
to specific support personnel. As a test I am going to send the messages

I finally decided to use my own "mail system" (which naturally uses
"bsmtp" ;-) ), which sends short messages, in french ;-).
This way I can catch all events directly in the python code.
Maybe "Canceled" could be added in the message types (info, warning,

I already get messages when jobs are canceled. I'm not sure what's doing

Hello,
Is there a way to get an email when a job is canceled ?
My actual configuration is :
mail = [EMAIL PROTECTED] = error, fatal, mount
Could it be something like :
mail = [EMAIL PROTECTED] = error, fatal, mount, canceled
?
K.

Can anyone provide a sample of a messages resource destination
specification using "syslog" that they know works? According to the
Bacula doc, the syntax is supposed to be

where I can set "destination" to "syslog". The doc goes on to say the
value of "address" will be ignored. T
