What I get is that write-region complains: "save-current-buffer: IO
error writing /dev/rfcomm0: Invalid argument".
I'm wondering if anyone else is able to dial in a similar manner or
is write-region just has problems with character device files.

I can see how that might be usefull. But it seems like the
bbdb-auto-notes-hook needs to at least be updated to know about the
addition of the recipients. It seems like the layout for the alist
would also need to change somehow.

Generally speaking, I'm in favor of not changing the perspective from
the user unless you have to. However, if we're going to change it
then let's change it. None of this mamsy-pamsy hand holding. Just
put something in the commentary/readme/web page that says, "Hey, t
en omiting the omitted fields and going ahead and showing the
omitted fields. Most of the time I don't want to see them; but
sometimes I do. I found that if I did bbdb-unelide-record twice it
would show all the fields. I didn't find a good way to toggle back to
the omitted state.

I thought there was a patch for bbdb that would delete records with
timestamp older than some date as long as there wasn't a "keep me"
flag on the record. Wasn't this patch part of the main bbdb 2.32? If
not, where can I get that patch for 2.32?

Using this setup, only the "newsgroup" header is actually captured and
replaces to the posted-to field of the bbdb record. All the other
headers seem to be ignored. I added
