finder and then the finder i set up .htaccess files to open with BBEdit.app
through "get info" in the finder.
double click any .htaccess file and they open in BBEdit.

I used BBEdit yesterday and did not notice it, but this morning, I did. The
sidebar listing of files had an extra "--" line.
