browser and select a podcast, it tries to connect for a brief instant,
then the screen goes blank and after 10 or so seconds, it returns to

my xp system I just installed the latest nightly on a clean -
uninstalled and all slimfolders deleted build and whilst it says
slimserver running and the squeezebox is alive - I still cant get to
the web front end 10 minutes
Just upgraded to 6.3 ( must admit to not noticeing if I had the same
thing occur at 6.2.2). Was NOT a prob at 6.2.1
Noticed that two of my albums by different artists, but with same album
name are listed together. Each album is in a different directory. When

For what its worth - i have a few music files in the default location
(after start up I point slim at my network attached storage). I get the
impression though its started processing the default location files and
this is what is taking the time?
Also can you give me the correct command line

Sorry I totally blew that post. I realized I should have put some
information in there to make it a little clearer (and I forgot about
being able to edit it too - I guess it was a little too late at
night).

I am running slimserver 6.5 nigtly from 23/5, I just downloaded the
SlimServer_v2006-05-23.tar.gz version and unpacked as I have done with
all the previous nightly releases I have installed.
I'm running Ubuntu
After installing all dependencies to the debian .deb package it
successfully starts.
But the question remains, should I have to install the debian .deb
package dependencies separately or should these be included in the
tar.gz package ?

All - I've merged the split-scanner branch back to the trunk.
