3.0. :-)
I'll reinstall .Net 2.0 and 3.0 later today to see if it still works.

I seem to have found my zapped favourites in
/var/cache/squeezecenter/favorites.opml. Copied it over to my playlists
directory and got them all back!

I upped from the 01-31 build to the 02-04 build, and artwork stopped
displaying - even after a complete library rescan.
I've reverted to the 01-31 build, still no artwork, but I've yet to
complete a rescan.

These prompts are very annoying and inconvenient.
This has nothing to do with the debian released packages and you don't
need any debian involvement at all. As somebody else said above,
slimdevices just need to make the keys
I'd had problems with the previous build and -assumed- that the
non-presence indicated that it wasn't fixed.

I'm running SC on Windows XP sp2 and I haven't rebooted in a very long
time.
I just do:
1) Start Downloading the new version
2) While it is downloading, stop the SqueezeCenter service (Control
Pannel, Services, highlight the SC service, hit stop)
3) Run the SC
I second this. Pressing Y every time I update SC is getting really
annoying.

thanks for you replies, but I've verified the issue on a fresh profile
with no plugins/extensions/themes. I forgot to say that included
disabling the DOM inspector plugin. It doesn't help.

I don't really have a problem with pressing Y, but I do have a problem
with getting a crontab mail every night with a warning regarding
unauthenticated packages.

I just installed beta version 7 build 4. february 2008.
The problem is that I have the albums Awake by Josh Goban and Awake by
Godsmach. The Compulation flag is not set for those Albums. When I
brows the library using the web interface it mixes up the albums and
shows it as one. I have have the

That's expected... we've moved away from the /var/cache directory and
to /var/lib/squeezecenter/cache. We purposely

Something went wrong with your cache dir... I'd kill off every
Squeezecenter owned process manually. From there, remove all the files
in the /var/lib/squeezecenter/cache directory and restart

but I'm still getting lots of errors in the scanner logfile that seem
to indicate that the CUE files -are- being read/parsed. For example:

I took the lazy way out - wrote a quick python script to rename all cue
files to cue1.
Not a problem for me as the only reason I even bother with cue files is
so my lossless copies can also function as backups of my CDs - and
naming a few cue1 files back to cue is pretty trivial - and my CDs are

I just tried with some modified code to do a
player_id playlistcontrol cmd:load artist_id:artist_id and it
works sometimes and halts/crash the server other times. It crashed with
an artist with 40 tracks in total.
I can't reproduce the issue. Can you provide us with some log file from
Nature Sounds Babbling Brook to save as a favorite either (I use this
every night to lull my 7-month old daughter to sleep).
Are you trying to do this on SN or SC?
