Im really happy that we have adopted MusicBrainz and MusicIP (MusicDNS)
early enough to -never- run into that problem each album has an

Really?
Some of my albums are in formats not supported by MusicIP. I don't archive

Just found Squeezeplay and need to say that it does exactly what I was
looking for - a better way to control the pair of SBs in my bedroom

I installed the latest nightly built of 7.3.2 and have the problem that
Squeezeplay doe snot shows all all the cover arts.
The first time I started it didn't show any cover at all. After a few
restarts it started showing most but not all of them.
Just to test I am running SqueezeCenter and

I have been running on 7.1 for sometime without any problem, but I have
decided to give 7.3.2 a try and noticed that the behaviour related to
the AlbumArtist tag is changed and in fact (at least from my point of
view) it is broken now.
It used to be in such a way that if I had specified an
Hi,

It's still working okay for me.
Playing will start with a line that includes _Stream and will include
lots of checkSync lines. It will be pretty verbose, producing a few
lines a second.

There's an option to list songs by each artist, or Group compilation
albums together. You need to pick the later. This should not require
a rescan.

They are actually album ids since MB tends to use only one entry for
identical re-releases. This -might- pose a problem for collectors
that collect several releases of the same album, I must admit

I'd like to use SqueezePlay when away from home. I have a dynamic IP

there a way I can give squeezeplay this? Or could this feature be
implemented?
Thanks

So, several people went to the trouble of writing a bug report for the
rather critical problem in Mac OS X:
No control at all of sound output, as SP ignores the standard OS sound

What do we get for our troubles? Reports marked as duplicate; no hint

Thanks, but what you describe is exactly not how it used to work.
It is exactly how it has always worked for me.
Adding the AlbumArtist tag use to override the normal behaviour and

OK, I guess there's a reason to not drop support. :) 7.4 trunk has
mov support split from AAC support now, if you can give it a try that
would be appreciated.
My example .mov file still played fine in 7.4/trunk this morning.

Not for a beta product. If it was close to release date, or found out
after release, yeah, it would be major.

In version , I noticed that when I select the option to only read
mixable status from MusicIP, a funny behavior manifests.
Such Apple Lossless songs will find themselves within MusicIP mixes,
but those files themselves will not have the ability to create a

Is this something

No, it belongs in whatever folder you specified for your own playlist
storage when you installed SqueezeCenter and went through the setup
wizard. If you can't remember where you said to store playlists, look
in the /var/lib/squeezecenter/prefs/server.prefs file and look for the

Can someone pls check if they can listen to KDFC classical radio station
