Is this a bug? When I select an album by browsing to the folder in
Squeezeserver, the tracks are played in alphabetical order, not in track
number order. Selecting the same album via album search plays correctly
in track number order.

Cannot see artist on Squeezebox Server when browsing over icons on Album
or New Music. This on Fishbone UI. Tried unsetting & resetting in
Interface screen, but that didn't fix it. Year will show if set to
show, but not artist.

to the library, the rescan did a full 'Music IP import'...took
forever and maybe the skipping was related to scanner.exe running? I
changed the Music IP plug in to "Only Read mixable status from MusicIP
(faster)". So far the track skipping has gone!
Track skipping randomly last night. What a bummer this is. So much for
what I thought was the fix.

ime (when I was running Xp) I got some malware bugs in the system
which may have slipped past McAfee because I was running it in a
degraded protection mode. I assume that now I've scanned everything
into SC OK, I should be able to reset McAfee back to defaults..

Small point. I know by now to look in the very bottom right hand
corner for the 'next' button. But a newbie might look for a long ti
RE language. In server.prefs, two mentions:

Seems that every time I install a new nightly SC starts a complete

ut I'm going nuts trying to find the setting to 'turn on'.
In advanced settings, I have Enable Playback (beta) checked. The test
tones don't play & sometimes cause the controller to lock up

again. Now I see duet_one listed as a playeralongside squeezeplay,
transporter & Squeezebox 2. Listening via headphones as I write this.
Strange though that although I had audio enabled, somehow it hadn't
'kicked in' until battery removed & replaced.

Well, what do you know! Leave it overnight & it's all working fine in

SC running. UI "now playing" window set to Transporter. Album area set
to 'New Music' and 'Show Album Art'. Close SC & Restart.
UI now shows Duet Box in now playing area and Album area reverts to
'Albums' with text display.

controller seems available. Controller on 7.4 r5580. Squeezecenter was

No problems here either. Running Transporter & Duet Box, box sync'd to
Transporter, FLAC files (over homeplug). My wife thinks there is a very
slight sync issue, but seems OK otherwise. No re-buffering, no spinning
wheels. Web UI OK. Loads playlist fine, displays art fine.
