On Friday I did find the cause of the reboots, they had been causes by
r3225. So now I'm a little worried about your reports of earlier
firmware rebooting too. Any information that can help track down the
cause would be most appreciated.

We have found it's only a problem when the Controller is undocked (which
is why I didn't see it earlier). I am still investigating the cause, but

Hmm, your right that's when it rebooted but the cause is not obvious. Do
you have a core file on the SD card? It maybe the app crashed and the
watchdog caused the reboot.
I have been testing with 3 Controllers here, uptime on all of them is >
1 hour so far.

Also from r3226 the volume control works. But watch out for the sound
effects, at the moment they use an individual volume control in
settings and are very loud in the headphones.

Just a note of caution, the 7.2 version of SqueezePlay should be
considered unstable. Three major items are being added, a new skin,
mouse support and audio playback. All are work in progress, and very
much unfinished.

I have been doing some testing with 44.1k/48k/96k on Squeezebox 2/3 and
Transporter tonight and it seems to be working fine with the latest 6.5
