All I can say is thank you for posting this! I had this problem and
followed your guidance and got right past it. I only had a short time
to perform the upgrade and would have been stressed if I couldn't get
past this since it wasn't my system to tinker with later.

I just upgraded to SC7 and I used to have to edit the service in 6.x
every time I did an upgrade. With 7, I don't even see a service to
modify. Is that correct? I only see the SQL service.

click to expand an album in place (pushes down the other albums),
select a few songs, then close the expanded album to return to the
list. Going to the whole separate album screen works, but I would
prefer not to do it most of the time.
All for now...I
t. The Fishbone is my comfort zone, but
I can see how the new default skin will "sell" people on the product, so
it really should be a little stronger on ease of use IMO. Looks like
Fishbone is still the best.
I just noticed the album song drop down feature of Fishbone - that
. Now the default
skin is flashy, just not fully functional. I guess it doesn't really
matter, but I'd really like to use the default skin.

exhausting the playout buffer in the beginning
and then the network catches up? I can hit play over and over and get
the same results - although it sounds slightly different each time. I
get 100%/100% on the 5000 network test and generally have no other
problems with the setup.

nd a song I wanted to play next
from my library...but I could only do that in fishbone. It would be
ideal to include the playnext button in that list, or allow a drag/drop
from the left side to the right.

g does match my symptoms. I do not have the cut outs at 30s. In
general, it starts off bad, then cleans up and doesn't have an issue
later.

Yeah - it works. In my view, that should be a default. And they should
get rid of the "X" option. I don't want any kind of delete easily
accessible.

could
hit play genre jazz, but then go to Artist->Miles Davis and hit the X to
remove all of the Miles Davis songs from the playlist.
So, to net it out, I think moreThanThis=1 should be the default
behavior.

When would you use it in the left part? BTW, completely agree - left

I turned off the visualizer and nothing changed. I'm really doing very
little other than trying to play the material.

4/96 WAV with
Foobar2000 and none of them had the problem when played as WAV.
It's as simple as when I begin to play the tune it immediately makes a
stutter/static noise, then it cleans up.
SqueezeCenter Version: 7.0 - 15249 - Windows XP
ain played flawlessly.

That's fine. These songs were more for system test capability than
anything. It will obviously be much more important as more source
material becomes available though. Thanks for focus.

I loaded the 12/22 nightly. It's still the old version.

My issue was for 24bit/96kKHz FLAC music which isn't supported on the
SB3, so you might want to describe what you are trying to play in more
detail.
