2007-10-05 Thread Bernd
Hi, I've searched the list but couldn't really find anything useful. How do I map z39.50 database results to BibTex/BibDesk fields? For example, Journal entries are not interpreted correctly. It would be nice to have an advanced field to searches where you can map this stuff in a simlpe way (or via

Hey folks - I'm having a strange problem with BibDesk. It is as follows: I import references into BibDesk by dragging PDF files into my BibDesk library, which prompts BibDesk to create a new, blank reference entry that I can complete. Sometimes, though, the new reference entry BibDesk cre

I also suggest you switch to Skim - this problem will go away and you'll get other benefits as well. I've especially enjoyed Bibdesk's display of notes I added to a PDF in Skim recently. Very useful. -mike On 10/5/07, Adam R. Maxwell <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > On Friday, October 05, 2007, at

[Bibdesk-users] Creating new record by dragging PDF

Hi, the table is set up to allow both adding files as new references and updating an existing reference. Try dropping the file between the rows. Move the file around on the table until the entire table is highlighted, not just a single row. Hope this helps, -mike On 10/5/07, Ingrid Giffin <[EMAIL
