Yesterday after spending a few hours on the Presqu'ile causeway looking at
the interesting peep, I accidentally forgot a virtually brand new copy

Yesterday, mid-afternoon, and again today in the early morning there were
several flocks of snow geese east of Ottawa in the Alexandria and Casselman
areas.
The flock at Alexandria this morning were very skittish and after several

I observed a Northern Shrike for 30 minutes near 338 Point Petrie Road (aka
County Road 24) in Prince Edward County at 1 pm today.
It was quite active, making forays from power lines and tree tops above a
farmers field.

This afternoon, I received a call from Tyler Hoar who had just found an
apparent Pacific Loon at East Lake, near Sandbanks Provincial Park in Prince
Edward County. I was in the area so I met up with Tyler and he showed me the
spot.
Half an hour later I was finally able to relocate the bird. I

A pair of Harlequin Duck were present at Arkendo Park at 1:30 PM, about 300
hundreds meters from the shore.
Directions: From QEW take Winston Churchill Blvd South, at Lakeshore Rd E turn
right and after 100 m turn left, at the and of Arkendo Dr there will be small
parking.
The two snowys were still around Gull Is. this morning along with a flock of 15
Commom Redpolls. Also present were 20-25 Snow buntings.
Many shore birds still on the South side of the causeway going into Presquile
Park. I did not see the previously mentioned Purple Sandpipers but they were

Hi Folks,
At 12:45pm, my wife Maureen alerted me to a small white egret feeding on the
front lawn of 582 Garden River Road in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. At around
1:15pm, I also had a chance to observe the bird in question, which turned out
to be a Cattle Egret in adult plumage. I took
