The Varied Thrush that has been in Nipigon for a little while is still
present. I had it fly across the road from 160 Greenmantle Dr. It then flew
off across the road again a few houses to the south. Not a bad start to my
northern trip!
Nipigon is about 100km northeast of Thunder Bay.

After I lost it, I thought I saw a fast moving bird heading back west in
the distance, but I can't be sure it was the same bird.
I also saw the male Northern Harrier a couple of hours later with others.
I don't know how "Ontbird worthy" this is as I'm not really sure how
"chaseable" this bird is. I'm mainly posting this because it's pretty rare
for Ontario. I found an Audubon's Yellow-rumped Warbler amongst several
Myrtles in Westminster Ponds in London.
