I have a system configured with OpenLDAP, OpenSSL and Samba.
it works fine, exept it takes ages for smbd to start on boot.
The reason for this is that TLS connects from smbd to slapd are being
rejected.
I don't understand why, as jobs spawned from init should run a root, right ?

Works for me but I've no idea why it's gone wrong for you. Gnome can be very fussy about

Hello there!
I asked the same question about 3 weeks ago but didn't get any
feedbacks, so I try again.
When I choose another theme in the gnome theme manager, it changes the
colors and the icons, but not the window border. In the "Theme Details"
dialog, there isn't a "Window Border" tab.

You can install net-tools from the BLFS book, which will give you the
ifconfig and netstat programs.

I've been kind of wondering that one too. It's called 'ip' now.

X's joystick driver is broken, not compiled per default, and not used.
You should use joystick devices directly. You must enable input, hid, and
joystick support in the kernel.

Just to chip in my tuppence worth on that point, When I tried Evolution the spam quickly
drove me back to Thunderbird. I just couldn't live without it's junk mail filtering.

I have it installed as I was curious how it stacked up against xcdroast
I didnt install PCCTS either but I didnt have my reading head on when
following the instructions as I started to install the latest branch
2.4. When I realised, I was half way through but after a quick readup on
www.gtkmm.or
Well it all works now, it seems GTK+ 2.6.4 fixed the issue
Firstly,
I moved to Evolution 2.0.4 but first had to upgrade the following
dependancies:
gal-2.2.5
libsoup-2.2.2
evolution-data-server-1.0.4
gtkhtml-3.2.5
All the above went in with no problems. I then deleted all my .evolution
