I don't think it is installed automatically in the XP Home Edition. You can,
however, install it from the XP CD. (I'm assuming that you can do that on a
Netbook, but I actually don't know that.)
1. Insert the CD Rom and navigate to CD-ROM Drive:\VALUEADD\MSFT\NTBACKUP
2. Launch the Ntbackup.msi f

reasons for using Windows 7 Pro or Ultimate that I have heard. I have

You can certainly run windows 7 on your netbook. You have to do a clean
install though. Make sure that you have enough ram in your netbook to make

Windows XP can't be upgraded to Windows 7, this is completely false. All
machines that are running either Windows XP or Vista can be upgrad
I'm sorry but that is not true. You can "upgrade" any machine with Windows
XP, but the installation must be a clean install. So up to you if you wish
to cancel your licence, but what they said isn't true.
