And Outlook Express will not work on W7, you will need either the new
Windows Live Mail or buy Microsoft Outlook or choose one of the free email
clients.

Hello.
I accidentally checked for GW Connect to start when Windows opens. I do not
want this, but can't find where I can turn this off. Since this question was
asked during installation, I guess it might be necessary to uninstall and
reinstall. I see nothing in Options to change it.
Thanks
Hi Becky,
Is there an icon in the system tray?
If so, there may be something in the context menu.
If not, you may need to go to the System Configuration Utility (msconfig),
and uncheck it.

I just searched all of the options and it seems you are correct in that
there does not seem to be any other location for changing that setting. A
bit of a drag in my humble opinion.

Hi mr. Kumar.
No, Outlook Express does not work with Windows 7. Microsoft has created a
new e-mail program called Windows Live Mail.
It does work with Windows 7 but it is quite different in some respects from
Outlook Express.
The only program that I know which can be compared with Outlook Express
window's mail says outlook express or jaws does on my laptop all the
time, lol it runs much like OE does.

Upon further investigation miss Becky I have come to the conclusion that all
you might need to do is remove the shortcut from your startup sub menu. If
memory serves as to what win patrol has told me in the past that is what GW
connect does to run at startup. Pretty easy fix I should think.
That is in the jaws script itself.

Probably my client of choice would be some sort of collection between
outlook and outlook express with maybe a couple of other items tossed in the
mix. Right now I am using outlook 2003 to write this on my windows 7 system
and it seems to work the best for my needs.

There is a program that allows you to use identities in Windows Mail. The
