John, Virtually all of the manufacturers have switched over to a full synthetic or a synthetic blend. They all tell you can go from five to ten thousand on an oil change. One company "Ams Oil" even says you just change the filter and add one quart of their oil every three thousand miles. If you

My opinion is that 75% of the population change their oil to much. 3 months or 3000 miles is normally for the severe duty vehicles. Look in your owner's manual for this definition for your manufacturer. Most double that for normal driving conditions. That being said, the only true way to know w

hi this oil is very advanced and therefore doesnt need changing as regular as mineral oil here in the u.k. our car engines are smaller than a lot of your motor bike engines and we get very high mileages out of our motors considering how small they are and considering we change our oil less often
