Hello guys,
I am having problems with registering a 7971 has a SIP phone with CME.
I am troubled, because I have used the same setup several times without

I tried two different methods but got the exact same results:
1. Use UCM to load the SIP firmware then register the phone back to
I have CIPC registered to CUCME. PSTN gateway is sending full e164 number
with + sign ( caller-id for incoming calls).
But in my CIPC main display from field doesn't show + sign (but all digits
in number are shown). In same CIPC bottom of the display (in small size) it
shows full number with +

There are two List.xml on CUCM TFTP. One with lowercase l and one with
uppercase L. Make sure you are downloading the right one. The one that
works for images in the one with lowercase.

Just to add, remember everything is case sensitive.. I have shot myself in
the foot more than once when uploading files, both the name and the
directory structure. IE: Desktops/320x212x12 does not equal

Hi All,
Thank you for the replys.
The error from RTMT is File[List.xml] not found. Also, all of you are referring
to sending the file to the phone. I am trying to download the file from call
manager to BR2. I know the error code seems strait forward but it is not. The
file List.xml is in
Exactly Chris , Basant , the right format is List.xml not list.xml ,

I don't think so but, every other file was working fine. I have a lab in the
morning and I will try restarting the service and see if that corrects the
issue.

Just did a quick test...
Uploaded List.xml to root of my test Pub.
BR1-2851#copy tftp flash
Address or name of remote host []? 198.183.241.210
Source filename []? List.xml
Destination filename [List.xml]?
Accessing tftp://198.183.241.210/List.xml...
%Error opening tftp://198.183.241.210/List.xml

The mwi-relay is required when you have phones registered to multiple CMEs
with a mailbox in CUE.
For your second question- if you have mwi sip in ephone-dn then you don't
need unsolicited. But unsolicited would not break mwi if you did use it.

Hello,
When I try to use MVA with MGCP hairpin I cannot make calls.
When I try to make a call I get the IVR menu again
Dial 3945010 get IVR menu
Enter PIN #
Enter 1 1002# ( to make a call)
...instead of being connected I get back to the IVR menu.
I seem to be trapped in some sort of loop.
