HI All,
Thanks for the replies.
I do need NTP master 9 since the question is requiring the local clock as
backup.
I was able to ping the lo0 interface for sa-rtr
so my commands I put in are:

Here is my question. If i did not configure ntp server 10.10.110.3 (a

I do not think you can do the ping command during CUE setup, but you can
ping the CUE from your other routers.
First confirm your Site C router can reach the CUE inside via ping, you may
have forgotten the static route to direct that IP address to the

Is ntp source set on the router to the interface with the IP you're trying

I know that I typically forget to put the static route back to the CUE

Hello,
Can you please confirm the following?
Setting the Type and Plan as "callmanager" means that the previous level

"callmanager" then the RL/RP settings are used for those parameters. If the
RP/RL are also set to "callmanager", t

then take a look at the Integrated Service Engine Interface, to see the

You can assign Externel Phone Number Mask to DNs, depends on type of GW you
have you can either create a translation rule in your Gw or Transformation
Mask in CUCM.

The easiest way is to configure the "Caller ID DN" in the Gateway/Trunk
configuration, and set it to your assigned PSTN Number.

HI,
I am working on the new lab #2.
When configuring CUE the question asks for the primary NTP server to be
10.10.110.3. The default is lo1, 10.10.115.1
When I enter that IP address, I get an error :
I could not reach 10.10.110.3 using NTP.
If 10.10.110.3 really is an NTP server, then

Hi Randall - from each of the clients at the command prompt type:
tftp -i x.x.x.x get UPCGWASHINGTON.CNF.XML
if you can download the file from the uccx server but not from the client
pc with the issue suspect it is AV / Firewall issue

I also had the same error, but my firewall was preventing the tftp.
Running cupc on the same subnet on a windows 7 machine solved the
problem.

Hi Randal
I have seen this error in real life and basically you should remove any trace
of the CUPC client and then reinstall again and make sure you have the new
version for java JDK.
Thanks

I have found the following issue (well maybe it is not an issue):
When setting only Type for Calling/Called Number (without setting the Plan

Hello,
I have noticed the following things during the Calling Party Globalization
and Localization
1) First of all, all IP Phones in this particular case are using Calling
Party Transformation to Localize the Calling Number. So when the IP Phone

Great question.
I am also interested in it.
There was time when I was testing that feature, and UCCX just worked
absolutly the same way, it did not make any difference whether the MTP
Support was checked or not.
So I could not get the difference.

It is nice to hear that the issue has been solved.
BTW, you can always "validate" your scripts before upload, and even
"Reactive Debug" them.
