I got it working with the native client.
You have to setup a new native OS X Cisco IPSec VPN
Go to System Preferences, Network, click the + to create a new VPN, select
VPN, Cisco IPSec and name it
Now set the Server IP, this worked for me 74.126.20.247

I took my second attempt on Monday, March 25 and did not pass.
I was hoping for some insight on concrete suggestions to get faster.
