By default, it will end up on opening greeting when SRST user press the
message button.
Is there a way to make the users enter their own voicemail account
directly(attempt sign in page) ?
I'm aware of a way currently which is to set the calling number to in

what's the differences? Was reading through gatekeeper technology and saw
this term.
Seems like VIA option ( aka CUBE) is able to do what proxy is doing +
additional media/digit manipulation.
Seems like no one talks about this proxy feature anymore, is it outdated?

There's a famous bug around which the CM7.0.1 will use g711 for admission
request to GK , even it's set to g729
So i applied the workaround which is to set intracluster calling signalling
to g729, blah blah blah
Now if i call from UCM to PSTN-WAN GK , it will request for "bandwidth 1280"

For me usually if such scenario, i will go CME to turn on debug instead...
debug voice dialpeer & debug h225 asn1 is useful. Most of the time, it's
just some digits mani

Just saw this. At the outbound dialpeer back to gk. Maybe you can try to
manipulate the called number? Provided you know the exact number to be sent to
GK.

Is it a requirement to use cube to pstn-wan ? Looks like your cube doesn't have
route.
I tried cube. You need to have a inbound dialpeer to accept the call and a
outbound dialpeer back to gatekeeper.

I forgot that I have HQ as alternate gateway. However, i saw some traceback
error then rebooting the gateway resolved the issue. =(

I met a very interesting scenario...
When I send a wrong number to PSTN, the PSTN switch told the gateway it's a
unallocated number. The call is not released. Both PSTN phone and My IP
phone both are still ringing. Either party can answer or hang up the call.
When connected, PSTN phone shows g711
Let's say for local call and 911 in US, the question asked you to send
calling name.
However, it's not mentioned for national call and international. If I send
calling name, am I correct or wrong?
For another case,
for certain call, i'm suppose to send via HQ and BR1 as backup for

shutdown the dspfarm profile and no shut it

see whether it recovers? I always face such issue.
Do a show sccp after that, see what's the error.

It's my first time trying out. However one of my phones works and the other
one refuse to. The non-working phone, when i press the line button, it will
make "new call" automatically, seems to me that privacy setting is still in
effect on ephone 1 ?! I doubt that's normal. Anyone can enlighten me?
