Dear Rui Wang,
the window size of the main HKL2000 window is indeed fixed. One
relatively simple workaround is to use a virtual screen size,
provided you use X11. Check your /etc/X11/xorg.conf and add an
entry, say, 'Virtual 1400 1024' in the Displ

a. What operation system your notebook is running?
b. There is no version of HKL2000 for Windows.
c. Move to 17" laptop with larger resolution
d. You will need special HKL2000 licence for the laptop

Not sure it is what you need. I put an external screen to my laptop when I
use HKL2000 for remote collection.

Rui,
I just noticed in your email you wrote "cr_info.dat"
That is the cause of your problem If you actually added .dat extension.
We have always kept ours in /usr/local/hklint
Which is funny because it is not one of the folders suggested by HKL people.
Thierry and Felix are right about other loca
cr_info can be in several places
~/ (user home directory)
working directory
/usr/local/lib ( This is the place where I keep it as it is a consensus
location for cr_info)
about /usr/local/hklint I am not sure, but if you say so, you probably know :-)

It will also look in the directory where you start HKL2000.

I
I believe cr_info should go in /usr/local/hklint along with site files.
It does not have to be executable but must be readable by all. (chmod a+r
cr_info)

It should be called cr_info
you have to : sudo chmod +x cr_info in the directory were it is, I think it
should be executable
try to activate HKL2000 first of all from there :
cd /usr/local/lib
HKL2000
