have you been through Raton Pass before? If not try to do it in daytime -- it's pretty spectacular. If you are interested in NM history it is worth getting off 25 in Pecos to take a quick gander at the old pueblo. It's right on the access road as I recall, a detour of maybe three miles. I did the upgrade yesterday and it went fine. Like you said, you have to put it in bootloader mode (power + record + soft reset depressed switch) before you put it in the cradle for the upgrade. It definitely seems more stable than the previous version and all the new features are cool. On 9/6/07,
