You paid $400 for it, they owe you a $400 replacement.
I had to have a defective LCD TV replaced after two years, and prices had
dropped considerably, I got a replacement based on my original purchase
price I was able to upgrade by 10 inches
I just called bb and they said I got to bring it in and they will ship it out
for service, if it can't be fixed then like somesone said, they will replace it
with one that is same value.
That works for me, it would take me from a 30gb to an 80gb or an ipod touch but
since I already got an iphon

My understanding is that it saves power on a CRT, but not an LCD. CRTs
make light by firing an electron gun. LCDs are backlit, and use
electricity to make colors or black. So Blackle actually uses *more*
power on an LCD (but not much -- the backlight is the power sink).
