As another suggestion, WKAR is an excellent station @ MSU in East Lansing,
is free, and doesn't play the "top 40 hits" classical music that my more
local classical station does. I don't want to overwhelm their servers with
HOF list people, but it's very nice. Only cavaet is they do run some news
Are you thinking of March to the Scaffold? That's part of Symphonie
Fantastique by Berlioz, who would be another excellent recommendation for
composers to listen to.

I've looked at some of the other postings. I would also suggest Mahler
(specifically, his 2nd symphony), and Richard Strauss (an example would be
Also sprach Zarathrusra (sp?)). I also really like most Rachmaninov and
most Brahms, but they may not be the "loud" classical composers you would
want.
I suppose that is true. I have a common set of ports I open up each time I
set one up, but obviously - the more someone does that is "non-standard" the
more work that is. I still think for most of the home users I set up this
way, this is a very good choice.

You hate those home routers? I've probably been involved with installing at
least ten of the things, different brands, some wireless, and they're sweet
as hell. What is there to hate about them?

My 2 cents immediately - forget the ICS (which is horrible at best) just get
a router that is capable of being connected to your cable modem. BELIEVE
ME - you'll thank me later for this advice. And it's SUPER simple to set
up.

That won't do any good. I'm still bouncing that sort of junk from accounts
that have been bouncing for 3 years or more. There's no real cost for the
spammer associated with bounces (since typically they bounce to an invalid
email address anyway), so they never clean their lists.

The saddest thing is people fall for this scam every day.

If you would have to use the PC as a gateway, you're likely going to be much
happier with a Wireless Router that will handle the internet connection in
place of your PC. Then it would share the internet to both your PC (either
wirelessly or via wire) and her laptop (wirelessly).

I'll give the third recommendation to AVG. Compared to Norton's home
product, it's much nicer and less intrusive.
Corporately we use Symantec Corporate AntiVirus which is nice from my
standpoint (because I can manage everything from the server). \
But at home I use AVG, and I own copies of Nort
Right now in SW Michigan I'm at $1.69 for 87. 92 would be 20 cents higher.
