I like the non-bordered version a lot. It seems more organic and the curves
offer it a three-dimensionality the bordered version lacks.
But, again - either one is perfectly fine and top-notch work.

I vacillate, but right now I'm in a "negative space" mood so I say you could
loose the borders - in fact I'd prefer it. It doesn't look bad with them of
course, but I would prefer the content to create its own boundaries and the
slight color change would do that well.

I think the outlines look nice but I wouldn't use white... I'd use a
white with a blue tinge...

You need to take your creative reward from the piece itself, not from the
reactions to the piece from the clients.
