It's this section of Los Santos in GTA:San Andreas where you can build
up your BMX skills and gun down B

Now if it is strictly music or something, then I have no problems, that can
be in the background and I won't mind that.

At 20 hours plus a week that's more influence than almost any other
factor in the kids life. Given an absent father and a mother who works
full time, it may be the most influencial factor.

Then you must suck at Trivial Pursuit! (j/k)
I seldom sit in front of the TV even today and focus on the show. It is more
like the radio was in the old days, or the fire was in the really old days.
I'll write, read, build furniture, sew, play solitaire, surf the web, play the

It's hard to argue these findings, in my opinion. What I think is important
though is the conclusion you draw from these reports. TV is just one of
thousands of influencers in a child's life. As with all other influencers,
both positive and negative, it is up to the parents to monitor their

That the kid reacted so violently suggests a lot. I didn't work for
four years in the juvinile care system and not be able to pick up a
few things. Spoiled kids don't show that sort of reaction. Seriously
psychiatrically disturbed children do.

For one thing its a very consistent finding that there's a strong
relationship between exposure to violence in the media and violent
behavior in children. While I'm not going to do the research for you,
have a look at some of these articles I pulled up from

more. But I don't really like TV, it doesn't really force me to think.

But football, soccer, baseball, karate, boy scouts, cub scouts, bikes, and

Which is about what I am seeing from my 5-year-old nephew (my only reference

For example, the Tom and Jerry cartoons are extremely violent, and they revel

Certainly the Power Rangers Dino Thunder series is no worse.

What empathy? The kid is seriously fucked up and you say taser the kid

Its not a matter of responsibility, the kid has a serious set of
