Scary eh?
These are internet averages as reported by omnitures website statistics. To
put this into prospective, for the month
well there is some things different on the mac hardware side, like intel chips.
If apple really took hold of gaming I could really see a lot of switchers.
Personally, I don't think they are too expensive, i dont think there is a pc
notebook on the face of the earth I would trade my mbp for.

The Mac is growing now because of a huge marketing effort, and because
of Microsoft's failures with Vista.
Not because the hardware has improved or is anything different.
It's still the same eyecatching ,sleek design and OS in an
expensive,proprietary package.

yes, every person out there cares about this LMFAO... the average consumer

Apparently not very many.. And those same ones that poeple have been buying
for years now haven't had any sort of impact on the web browser, which is what
this thread was about.
It's not going to matter until they open the phones up for third party
applications just like every other phone out there.
If you need to go through some laborious process or be a 'preferred'
Apple provider or something like that then the phones will stagnate
and become as niche as a Mac PC.

Could they sell around a million units by xmas? I'm sure they will.

Gets where? Past Linux? Certainly longer than a month or two. I would expect
most people that really wanted an iPhone already bought one. Future growth will
certainly be at a slower pace.

How long do you think until it gets there.. another month or 2? Especially with
all the european launches of iphone lately.

Hhm, not sure you can say that 0.09% is "almost as much as" 0.57%, in terms of
numbers that's probably quite a big difference. Still, that's pretty good for
such a new device. I would expect once it gets 3G support, rather than the m

Same here, although I'm using the new version of Opera Mini. It's really neat
because it loads a fullscreen view of the webpage and then you just drag around
