Although not a test for teachers My GF was correcting CMT (Connecticut Mastery Tests) last year. At the time, she was not trained for this (yet), so was making a few educated guesses. She made the mistake of asking my opinion on a few things and we got into multiple fights over it.

This somehow does not surprise me. I live in Lawrence(unfortunately) and the high school I graduated from, Lawrence High lost it's accreditation for passing students who couldn't read and write english, I'm sure there were other issues also. The city as a whole is a mess and never seems to get any
