If you expect to be able to use these cameras for remote type stuff,
picture quality may be an issue. My bud set up some 4 cams w/1
pci card fer $200 type deal, which works alright for seeing if someone
is there type whatnot, but when the vending machine people wanted
some mug-shots (we had some l

cameras and merges them into 1 picture for your tv. The dvr has a
built in web server so that you can also access it from your lan or
wan.
If all you want to do is see who is at your front door, you could get
a regular ip camera,

D-Link has some fairly good wireless security cams with a built in java web
server. You can set things up so that you can monitor the cameras remotely.

Mine's actually just a normal Creative Labs Webcam, mounted to the top

There are wireless webcams that will do this. I just got a wired one
that has the abilityt o detect motion and start recording video to the
HD of my computer when it detects motion. You can also set a "window"
for it to specifically watch for movement (a door for example). You
can set the length
