I see your point but I personally don't see him as a causal factor.
In other words, you're preaching to the converted here. I think the
FTC is not doing its job, but I think this because of media ownership,
not Janet's breast.

I went a little to the overzealous side in my reply, but I guess my
main point is this: while still tasteless to make jokes about it, the
scale of the disaster in the plane crash isn't even close to that of
the tsunami. Doesn't mitigate the fact that people lost
I wasn't going that far with it :) just citing it as an example of
making a joke out of a disaster.
Actually I could care less about Janet's breast. I have two of my own.
As for changing the station, ya well, he had the morning show at the

That's what he does. Well did. Mostly other people do that for him
now. Captain Janks is particularly good at getting past screeners on
CNN. Bad taste, sure. but do we blame Howard? or the fact that CNN,
CBS, NBC, ABC and others are so desperate to h
He called an actual employee live on the air. And by the way he was a

Why would a DJ, or anyone, think it'd be "funny" to say they were going to
start killing ANYONE? Constantly shaking my head at the depths of stupidity
to which the human animal is capable of sinking.

and wondering outloud about the cost of taking a plane to the bridge. But that
sort of thing is a far cry from racist. I've heard part of the Tsunami song
and it isn't funny. It's sick.

they're equal opportunity offensive huh... I blame Howard Stern for
this. Do you know that after an Air Florida plane crashed into a
bridge in Washington DC he called the desk at National Airport and
asked the price of a ticket to the 14th Street Bridge?
Seriously, the whole thing sounds pretty re

A local (New York) radio station (97.1FM) is being barraged with complaints
after airing an insensitive and racist song about the recent tsunami (sung to
the tune of We Are the World). It's amazing what some people will do for
ratings. I have the lyrics but they are so
