I used OS/2 Warp for a while. It had win 3.1 compatibility baked into
it. It was very stable for it's time, but lacked the polish
(graphically) of the MS products at the time. Plus, IBM was never

I built an AMD with 2gig for my HDTV, cost me around 500 hundred, and works
great. Got media center installed, and one of those wireless gyro mouse
things. I love it.

1978 - terminal for a main frame at local college. The local college has
a biorhythm program installed on their mainframe. I'd go to school and
get kids to give me $3.00 for a print out of their biorhythm chart. Then
I'd sneak into the computer lab at the local college, use
first computer/game consoles I played with and wrote programs for:
Atari
Commodore Vic-20
then upgraded to a C64
Built first PC in 1986. An IBM PC/AT with 512k RAM, 20 MB hard drive,
a floppy drive and a modem that took an old fashioned telephone
handset in a cradle. Wow. 1200 baud connection! woo
