I have CF 7.01 in JRun multiserver mode running on an older laptop that we use for presentations. I'm trying to create a new CF instance using the Enterprise Manager in the CF admin. It runs for a while and then errors out somewhere during step 3 out of 4 (Deploying). This is the error

Depends on what you mean by this. If you are looking for a test of whether it is an integer versus a real number with non-zero digits after the decimal point, then you can use this: CFIF Variables.MyVar = Int (Variables.MyVar !--- Variables.MyVar is an integer. --- CFELSE !---

Interesting project. Are you asking if CFMX can read directly from the serial port? I suppose you could build an event gateway using CFMX 7 Enterprise that listens to the serial port using the javax.comm package. However, the GPS device would need to be attached to the CFMX Server serial port

I'm not sure about our competitors but generally it is possible to do partial settles. (just pass auth reference #) One thing u need to keep in mind is that there's a time limit on those auths (which u may know already) which varies by card type and is not controlled by the processor. Also

You need to switch the timeout off to be guaranteed of it definately completing. Obviously on a more powerful machine you won't get this issue. Being that you're not supposed to use the default cfusion instance in production this shouldn't cause you any problems :) Andy On 13/01/06, Cliff

Well, you have a bigger problem than that. Let's take your example, where--after someone selects a start time of 11:45 AM and a finish time of 12:45 PM--you change your start time list to: 11:30AM 01:00PM What if the person selects 11:30 AM (completely valid), and then selects an end

I was trying to eliminate any crediting back to a card.. In a nutshell the customer wants to get a card number in case he needs to charge for a no show. I don't want to store it any where on the DB, I figured the place to do it was at the online processor. He is willing to switch processesors

I just learned about eclipse recently, and I love it. I am curious, though, as to whether there is a plug-in that allows the sort of visual HTML layout editing that Dreamweaver does. You see, I am too cheap to buy Dreamweaver at home. Is there an eclipse plug-in (I've looked through and not

Mark, In the ColdFusion documentation, take a look at the key parameter for the CFINDEX tag. Here is some of the info: The value specified for key depends on the type attribute: If type = file, the directory path and filename for the file, If type = path, the directory path for the location

I would do an authorization, which would reserve the funds in the user's account, and then you can do a sale on it later on, or a void. If you don't void, it automatically drops off in a few weeks I believe. Russ -Original Message- From: J W [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday,
