Could someone please refresh my memory regarding session variables and cf5. Should all reads and writes be locked? Has anyone experienced problems with session variables being passed from a cfm template to an html page and then on to a 2nd cfm template? TIA! Doug [Todays Threads] [This Messag

I have had similar problems while developing an application on MX 6. I ended up finding where the generated .class files are stored and would delete them manually when this occurred. It was very intermittent and nothing I could get a handle on. Doug techmike wrote: >Well just an update..  I g

Hello all, I have an application residing in a subdirectory of my web root. Inside the application subdirectory I have my Application.cfm and OnRequestEnd.cfm files; my web root contains both files as well. As far as I can tell the webroot/Application.cfm is not processed (as I expect). But th

Presuming M$ SQL Server, one could write a stored procedure the perform the 'select into'. One note, if the goal is to be able to pass in any source table and any matching destination table then the stored proc would have to build a string and then use 'exec sp_executesql' to execute the string

I wrote an app that managed some patient data and we used a fairly generic audit table to capture our audit trail. Because it was generic, I wrote a UDF to perform the actual logging with very minimal impact. Below is the SQL to create the table, you will probably have to modify it. CREATE TABLE
