IF you decide to go with a stock type setup, consider a partial kit from one of the many vendors out there. ( I know GroundUp - www.ss396.com has them). It includes the spindles (or you could have yours machined to work) , backing plates, & the caliper brackets. The 3 hard to come by parts.

The Scirrocco fans will not pull enough air to cool your car,Rick. The Ford Windstar fans will probably work ok,though. If you really want a electric fan that will move some serious air and cool almost anything imaginable,get a Lincoln Mark VIII unit. They fans will pull between 4800-5000cfm of air

I had Phoenix Transmissions (http://www.phoenixtrans.com/) out of Weatherford, TX put a 700R4 behind a big block in my 67 and all they had to do was shorten the driveshaft and add a cooler since I was converting from a 4-speed. When I did my swap over ten years ago it was still kind of a new thing to do. They got a new (shorter) driveshaft and fabriucated the tranny mount on the crossmember to fit, instead of moving the crossmember. Otherwise they had no problems fitting it into the car. You might want a new shifte
