Thanks. The real reason I asked if anybody knew if this was
a dealer item is because when my accelerator cable broke a few weeks ago, the
place that had the best price and also had it in stock turned out to be the

Factory clear can be wet sanded with 400 - 600 grit and recleared. But be
sure to use an adhesion promotor prior to spraying the clear. It is a
solvent you spay on with your gun, it will help soften the factory baked
clear and let the new clear grab hold.
