I have a 200-4R in my 70 Skylark (GSX clone) and I am still running the stock
2.73 gear. I keep it in 3rd gear most of the time except on the highway, 55-60
mph. 2,000 rpm is about 78 mph. I have driven it to Miami and Daytona last
November and I just got back from the last 3 cities part of
at Summit (brand unknown) and Storm Shield to date.
Also going to install 4 rubber cove base around the interior.
Anything worth doing is worth over doing. right?

and then again it may. GM dealers put it in new cars to fix small problems
under warranty. It's much easier than pulling the engine just to check the

My first thought would be that you could cut the filler neck with a hacksaw and
use a rubber hose to reinstall it if you can't get the tail pipes out of the
way. Some metal filings will be left in the tank that may be hard to remove

I just used Goof-Off to remove the weatherstrip glue around my trunk and it

but research indications show that almost all known SS Chevelles from KC and
