As said earlier, the base model platform/heavy Chevy wipers parked on the
windshield and the Malibu and SS had the hideaway up until 1972. I converted
mine and got everything from a Malibu on my 72 including the extra wide
Stainless piece across the bottom of the windshield that the wipers park
Twist the positive battery cable, I have had that happen to me more times than
I care to remember.

The quality of gas has gone down by cleaning up the emmisions, summer blend. I travel the midwest 75K on an '05 and the gas sold in Iowa nets me 2-3 less mpg than the Indiana gas because of the ethanol. I drive the same way. I really see the difference in my '85 C20 with 7.4L on the ethanol type
