I just bought some new chrome quarter window replacement pieces for my 65
Chevelle. They looked to be exact replacements but they are longer that the
stock pieces. I checked other vendors web sites and they have a footnote
saying they would need to be trimmed to fit.
Does anyone on the list have a 65 Chevelle radio, preferably a push
button in fairly good looking condition? I will probably have another radio in
the glove box. I mainly want it to finish the dash original. Also looking for
a washer/wiper knob.

I am now close to starting on my 65 Chevelle drivetrain upgrade. I am
stroking my 350 to a 383. I have purchased a 700R4 trans. I intend to go with
disc front brakes and rebuild my rear drums. The rearend is getting overhauled
and I am putting in 3.55 gears with a posi. Probably an alu
If you still have your wheels and tires before you worked on the front end you
could put them back on to see how it acts. It could eliminate one variable.

am considering changing to an electronic distributor and was told by a Speed
Shop guy that the MSD Street Fire HEI distributor is a good upgrade. Part

I noticed someone talk about the 200R and stated it is the same length as
what was already in the car. What are the disadvantages of the 200R versus the
700R? I would think everyone would use the 200R if it requires less

I think the products name is goo-be-gone. It is about $4.00. It will last along time. Put it on and let it soak under the sticker. I have used it on drinking glasses.
