I picked up the battery tray from Trevor at the Long Beach Swap Meet
today and figured I'd swap out the tray. I'm not sure how it happened
but the old, rusty, acid etched tray came out in less than five minutes,
and the new tray was in after another five. I was shocked that I could
be done so

holds up well when the car is not started for several weeks (or more) at a
time. It is also a little lighter than a regular battery.
My problem is I think the red top really looks out of place when showing the
car.
Guys, thanks for all the advice about label
removal. I found the one on top of a new
Costco battery can be easily and cleanly peeled off. I re-stuck it
over the side label, retaining all the important data. This leaves the top
all black and clean looking.

Here's where the fun begins... Are you sure the battery is charging? After you jump-start it, does show that you've got positive amps, or more than 13 volts?(assuming you have guages) Sometimes you need to charge the battery on low amperage for over 24 hours to really deeply recharge the bat

I will drive the car on weekends and put it under cover Sunday night and then the next Saturday morning the battery is dead. This past week I started it up on Wednesday without a problem. Went out this Saturday afternoon and their was not enoug
I think New Castle Battery may have one. A friend of mine just got one like that for his 67 SS convertible. I'll give him a call tomorrow and see where he got it.

I had this very problem in my Cutlass. The battery took a poo poo. Put a
new one in and it has not done it since. It was not holding a charge for
some odd reason.
