I am currently doing a frame off resto job on a 69 that I have.  You need to determine your intentions with this car.  A frame off resto will cost you more than you think.  i went through this with my 70.  I was figuring about 15 or so grand and it ended up being over 25 grand and alot more headach

First Make the adjuster's job easy.   Provide him or her with 2 appraisals of the car.  This makes it easier for them to go to their boss who has to sign the check.  Most of them just want your case to go away as quickly as possible. If you give them the ammo, they can do their job better.

  My heater core just went out on my 70 Chevelle.  Where do i have to go to replace it?  There is that little box ,i guess you could call it that, that sticks out where the heater hoses goes.  Can I take the core out from there or what?  I would also if you could write me step about how i should do
