Sorry it took so long. The starter is a 6449, which if you search, just comes up as a gear reduction starter. I got it at Davis auto electric, his # is 540-377-2062 and is in Raphine, Va right off I-81 exit 205. I'm sure you can find it other places. I have not had any problems with it and it only

I'm not sure if they still do it but the Goodmark installation shop is headquartered in Georgia. I saw a 70 Chevelle that they installed both quarters and one doorskin and it looked very good. They only do the install work and if you were wanting to do the finish work you could look into that.

Hurst makes a bunch of sticks I bought one for $5 at Carlisle. Check the web site you will find one long enough or bent the way you need it. Jim It's a Muncie transmission with a Hurst Competition Plus shifter that is going into a '68 Chevelle. It's supposed to fit inside the stock

It attaches with screws. If your installing a GM screen on a GM hood you could probably do it on the car. I put a repop screen on a Goodmark hood and only one hole lined up. I had to drill the rest. If that is your situation you will need to pull the hood. Thanks, Dan

Be careful with the length of the screws you install. Years ago I ordered correct screws and they turned out to be either too long, or I installed them at the wrong angle. Either way, several extended too far and put a dimple into the outer sheetmetal. I didn't notice til I had 3 or 4
