If one of the upgrade
kits don’t work, I may change out my HEI distributor to one of these. I just
wanted to get a little better ignition, but don’t think I need to go to the
full blown high perf. ignition in my daily driver. Time will tell
on street engine. That money can be put to better use in another
area in my opinion

I used the HEI that was in the motor. I then went to a MSD coil/module/cap / wires.not long after I did all that it wouldn't start.There was no spark. Made me mad enough I went out and bought the ready to run MSD unit.
