Hi Jeanette,
Although I think my Max is very cute too, I think he needs to be educated
and corrected when he does something that I don't like, in order that he
will stay cute and not become the boss in the house. That's me!

Another tip from my daughter...
Next to the big plus toy a little alarmclock. The ticking sounds like the

A warm bottle might help too.

Hi Jeanette,
I got my rescued Chi, also Max, when he was 18 months old, so no experience
with puppys.
My daughter rescues a lot of dogs and the new ones always sleep in a crate,
next to her bed. She can tell them to be quiet in that way, without leaving
the bed. When they are quiet, the crate m
I live in New Mexico. The reason I asked where you lived is it seems to me that
people in your area would be better to help you than putting out a call on a

Hello Furdion,
I know it is an old subject, "the sweet puppy kisses",but... is that
what you mean by licking?
Mimosa is a rescued half Chi half cuddly dog :P, and I thought she was
just sweet when I carry her, she looks for my neck to lick. Should I
be worried? Is not compulsive, just as she wags
The chaos in my house these days is probably the reason Bogie is acting out
and started licking me more. And I swear you can't let that dog around a
