I too harness my Chi, also named Minnie, with a step-in harness that I bought
off of ebay a couple of years ago. Its called a Buddy Belt, and I've included

It sounds like your pup is jus sore from it's shots. They will be very tender,
very tired and may even run a low grade fever after getting their shots.
