Passed CCIE written on Saturday. It was definitely a difficult test but I
did not see anything I would not expect a good CCIE to know. Well maybe one
or two things ;-) Now just that little detail called the lab to go.

What do you mean by payload? I assume you mean packet size. I don't have
the exact figures but I the overhead on packet size is about 10%. The
overhead on the CPU utilization could be 100%, which might be what he is
thinking of.
