Somehow I have forgotten how to do math... Can anyone explain to me or point
to a doc on figuring out the percentage for the below lab.
Enable traffic shaping on int serial 0/0 as follows:
Shape Telnet and ICMP traffic to 15%25 of bandwidth

Are you doing a reply or a reply all. this one was a reply all and it's
going to both the originator (you) and groupstudy. I think the reply only
sends it to the originator, I'm using Yahoo in this case.

My first question is (I only have lab experience, so forgive me if these are
rookie responses). Without the PDM can you, access the via the browser? From
the PDM can you ping the pix?
if you can't ping you need a conduit to allow any icmp (ping). Great for
testing...something like

different solutions with.
I think the switch ports are set to Auto Neg. ON. Try port setting to 100
Half for G4s and 10 half for G3s and see what happens.

I think you are looking for catalyst 2926. It uses the CatOS as Catalyst
5000. I am not sure about 1200 since I have never used it before, but I am
pretty sure that the 1900s use menu driven OS and 2900s use IOS.

Hi,
Is there reason one would prefer loopback address for router ID when using
Ospf over the router id command that can be used under "router ospf " and
vice versa. Is there a need to advertise the router IDs in OSPF.

If he took the switching and made 923, he should know
these questions. I also recognize them from the
switching exam, which I took a few months ago. In
fact, I recognize all of them from my 504 test.
Does make one wonder...

I think I remember something on this from quite a while back. This is either
a new version of it or this worm is close to a year old. Anyway, file and
print sharing is dissabled by default. Any users that don't know better than
to enable full access to C$ and not at least password protect it proba
Without breaking NDA, I believe I can say that the new
labs are out. IPSec is big in a major way.
How big? Well, let's put it this way. If you were to
get no points for IPSec and no points for ATM, your
chances of making it to Day 2 are just about zero.
This should not be a surprise to anyone.
