Thanks again to everyone that replied. I did the "config register to 0x2101" and it worked just fine. The nice thing about that approach was that it loaded my current config upon booting, so once it was up, my flash was in Read/Write and I could TFTP the new image. I manually did an "erase flas

I just went through this last week. What a pain. Your problem is that the 2500's run from Flash, and its like trying to delete on open file on your PC. Here's what finally worked for me. I added a boot system command to an TFTP server. When I rebooted the router it took about ten minutes to
