Use a TFTP server with tripwire installed.
All you need is an old PC, a basic linux install and a free version of
tripwire.
Cost is next to nothing.

Hey
Kiwi CatTools works very well for configuration backups and is inexpensive

Hey Group,
I have a number of routers that don't get their configs backed up on a

Probably not too important that S1 is down as it's not configured. What I
was getting at was that all of the interfaces are down on both routers.
Could be wrong but would like to see a show int.

As far as I remember (I configured 2 3com routers 2 years ago), the 3com
router has a menu driven console (much the same as the catalyst 1900).So the
only thing you have to do is to connect to the console port and select the
number of the option you want to configure, then you type the parameter

If you have a 10Mb port on the router then your able to get 10Mb half-duplex
and 20Mb full-duplex.When you set the Ethernet interface to full-duplex
it sets
the port @ 20Mb instead of 10Mb..Hope this helps.

The enternet port on this AS is just 10/half. There is no way of setting it
to full. It is the same as on my 2503. These devices all have the AUI port
on them, with apparently, no support for full duplex.
