Defender has a spring sale every year in march I believe. Its like a mini bat

When racing a number of years ago I pulled in a few people from another

experience. So for me the rule now is don't leave the boat. When out
with just my wife I feel comfortable only when I am firmly clipped in.

That's exactly the attitude, Don. If you go over the side, you are mostly
likely going to have to pop off the tether on your harness to avoid drowning
while being dragged through the water. I always thing of my harness and tether
as a device to keep me on the boat at sea. I avoid going up the
Hi David,
If he's a sailor you could get a nice 7 - 12 year old rum for him.
From the movie Capt'n Ron:
Martin:- It drips a lot of oil, doesn't it?
Capt'n Ron: - All diesels do that.
Katherine: - All diesels do that, honey.
Capt'n Ron: - Diesels love oil like a sailor loves rum.
Hi Andy,
I agree with you, good points.
I made my tether with a locked Brummel eye on each end, using
Amsteel. An approved carbiner on the deck end and a regular snap
shackle ring hitched on my end. I use the ring hitch so there is a
short length to the other eye. This way I have a regular
David,
I would estimate a repair like that to be well over $100. I paid $100 to
have a 8 tear in my #3 fixed. The man deserves some good scotch or rum.

I hope this finds everyone relaxed and happy after Hanukkah and the Christmas
season.
We are in the process of completing a small repair on our hull and are having a
problem matching the gelcoat. It appears that most of the available gelcoat is
a few shades off (cream vs our grey-ish tint).
Dennis knows of one. He gave me the name but I never got to that project.

Cost to replace the press rings to web loops at both head and tack on my genoa
was $80 for both. Of course there were no repairs needed to do this and it was
an add-on to the other work I was having done at the same time.

Relaxed, maybe. Happy, definitely.
As to your question and Joel's post. Yep. I do know. I just repaired a Hobie 33
doing this. It may not suit your style but it works well. The Hobie repair was
nearly invisible.

Harbord Insurance, who do a lot of marine insurance and were recommended to me

There's a few online lofts that would sort a jib and main for a 27 for
around $2k. I know Precision,

Peter,
I went with Somerset Sails out of New York ((http://www.somersetsails.com/ ,
but don't expect much from the website), he is just outside of Buffalo). He
was highly recommended from other forums. I cannot say how good his sails
are (yet), as I got them in December and there is no way to try
Paul,
I fully support the idea. But we don't have a local loft and I don't think I
would want to pay double for the privilege. Some premium is certainly worth
it, but not 100%.

For an offshore quote, I have heard a lot of good things about Rolly Tasker

Right. I have four good hard points in the cockpit. Big padeyes with

matching CC gel coats colors than he does.
